Commenting on the incident with the American drone, the Russian Foreign Minister said that the US “continually looks for provocations.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the United States of “ignoring” airspace restrictions introduced by the Russian Federation in the Black Sea after the start of the war in Ukraine, CNN reports.
“They completely ignore the fact that after the start of a special military operation, our military declared the corresponding areas of the Black Sea adjacent to some areas as areas with a limited status for the use of any aviation,” Lavrov said.
According to him, the US is “continually looking for provocations aimed at increasing tension.”
Lavrov also noted that any incidents that provoke a clash between two major nuclear states always pose a great risk.
Remember, March 14, the US military said that a Russian aircraft shot down a US reconnaissance drone over the Black Sea.
