The armed forces enjoy the almost complete support of the entire Ukrainian society, sociologists say.
Among the social institutions of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have the highest level of trust – they are trusted by 95.8% of citizens. Andriy Bychenko, director of the sociological service of the Razumkov Center, said this during the presentation of the results of the sociological survey, reports Ukrinform.
“Among social institutions, citizens have the greatest confidence in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – 95.8% trust. Before the start of the active phase of the conflict, 68% of respondents expressed full or partial confidence in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is, the Armed Forces enjoy the almost complete support of the entire Ukrainian society,” – noted Bychenko.
A high level of support to volunteer organizations – 76.7%, volunteer detachments – 72.5%, the National Guard – 81.4%, the State Emergency Service – 82.2%, the State Border Service – 74% , the President – 70.5%.
The Ministry of Defense also has a positive balance of trust – almost 80%, the SBU – 55.8%, the National Police – almost 50%, the church – 52%, the media – 38%, urban and rural leaders – 32.5 %, the National Bank – 28.5%, government – 8.6%.
The negative balance of trust in political parties – -41.6%, officials – -38.4%, the judiciary – – -34.1%, commercial banks – -13.9%, the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine – -11.2%, the Verkhovna Rada – -10 %, SAP (Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office) – -8.1%, NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine) – -6.4%, trade unions – -7.1%.
