Russian security forces raided a journalist’s house in the village of Urozhaynoye, Simferopol region of Crimea.
In temporarily occupied Crimea, Russian security forces searched the home of a local activist of the Crimean Tatar national movement, citizen journalist Rolan Osmanov. This was announced by the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov on Telegram on Wednesday, March 15.
According to him, the search took place in the village of Urozhaynoye, Simferopol region of the peninsula. It is still unclear what the actions are related to the investigation. Chubarov suggested that, perhaps, in this way the invaders were looking for traces of those who on February 23 allegedly blew up the railway along Simferopol-Bakhchisaray.
Russian security forces had previously detained Osmanov. So, in July 2022, it happened near the “Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea”, where a “trial” was held with the first deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Nariman Dzhelal, and the brothers Aziz and Where. Akhtemov.
The activist was also detained in September 2021 near the building of the FSB of the Russian Federation in Simferopol, where he came to learn about the fate of five abducted Crimean Tatars.
Remember, earlier in Crimea, a search was conducted on the head of the Sudak Regional Majlis Ilver Ametov. The reason for the search is an “anonymous call”.
