As of January 1, 2023, 175.8 thousand people actually worked in 109 state authorities. In 2022, the actual number of employees of these bodies will decrease by 9.6 thousand people – by 5.2%. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.
It was noted that the largest number of employees is in the State Tax Service – 23.2 thousand people, as well as in the Pension Fund – 20.3 thousand people.
At the beginning of 2023, in total, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers and 18 ministries, 20 services, 15 agencies, four inspections, four commissions, eight other state bodies, the number of which was established by the Cabinet of Minister, as well as nine state bodies, whose number is not established by the government, operates the state authorities, 24 local state administrations and six judiciaries.
The Ministry of Finance has developed an interactive analytical panel – a dashboard that allows you to analyze information on the maximum, actual number of employees in state bodies, including the judiciary and local administrations of the state.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will reduce the cost of maintaining officials.
