The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, ordered the largest Russian manufacturer of missiles of various types to double the production volume. This was reported on Tuesday, March 14, by the Russian propaganda news agency RIA news with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The representative of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation held a working meeting with the management of the Corporation Tactical missile weapons. According to a Russian official, the state defense order is “adequately carried out.”
“However, even considering the increase in output this year, (Shoigu – ed.) ordered to double the production of precision-guided weapons,” the report said.
He added that the company allegedly has the necessary reserves and that its work is “difficult, but doable.”
Corporation Tactical missile weapons – Russia’s largest developer and supplier of various types of missiles, including anti-radar and multi-purpose ones. In total, the corporation includes 39 businesses.
As already reported, Russia on Thursday, March 9, during the missile attack on Ukraine, spent the number of missiles it produces for a month.
Recall that on the night of March 9, Russian troops fired 81 missiles of various bases: Kh-101 / Kh-555, Caliber, X-22, Kinzhal, Kh-31P, X-59, S-300 , as well as the Shahed-136 UAV /131.
