The most combat-ready, professional and understaffed mobilized army of Russia is now concentrated in the Liman-Kupyansk direction.
There, the Russian command attracted professional units – paratroopers, brigades of the corps of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, mechanized tank units. Also in this direction, the enemy also uses artillery most aggressively. Sergei Cherevaty, a representative of the Eastern Group of Forces, stated this on the air of a telethon on March 12.
They are trying to carry out attacking actions every day for the last weeks. For several weeks in a row, this direction has been a leader in artillery shelling and shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, he noted.
In particular, on March 11, the enemy carried out 414 attacks, 12 clashes took place. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed a lot of Russians – the enemy lost 70 people killed and 82 wounded. One Russian tank and five infantry fighting vehicles were also destroyed.
It is characteristic that in this direction the enemy uses armored vehicles more, they are knocked out every day. These are either T-72 tanks, or even the newest T-90s. About a week ago, five of these were shot down in a day,” Cherevaty added.
Recall, the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, said that in the Kremensk direction, Russian invaders are losing new T-90 tanks, so they are forced to switch to old T-72s.
