A fire broke out in the boiler room of a school in the village of Poremba Velka near Auschwitz in the south of the country. Rescuers evacuated the people and extinguished the fire. None of the Ukrainians were hurt.
It was learned that the boiler room where the fire broke out was separate from the school building.
After the fire was extinguished, the school premises were checked for carbon monoxide. All indicators were normal, Ukrainians were allowed to return to the school building.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. The boiler house will continue to operate to provide heat to the school premises.
Recall that in October last year in the municipality of Gross-Stremkendorf in Germany, a hostel for Ukrainian refugees burned down.
