Russia’s military losses are growing – the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying not only Russian soldiers and mercenaries, but also representatives of the highest officers of Russia.
During the movement of enemy units in the Kherson direction, as a result of a successful air strike, the head of the operational department of the 4th tank division of the Russian army, Colonel Denis Gutarev, was destroyed. The top officer was eliminated in the fall of 2022, but information about this has only just appeared. This was announced by an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and blogger Anatoly Stefan “Shtirlits” in Telegram.
At that time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on March 12, the Defense Forces destroyed more than 700 invaders, eight tanks, five armored cars, 16 artillery systems, six vehicles and nine special equipment.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to March 13, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel – about 159 thousand 800 (+710) people liquidated,
- tanks – 3 thousand 474 (+8) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 6 thousand 774 (+5) units,
- artillery systems – 2 thousand 503 (+16) units,
- MLRS – 493 (+0) units,
- air defense systems – 259 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 304 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 289 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 2 thousand 109 (+1),
- cruise missiles – 907 (+0),
- ships/boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 5 thousand 354 (+6) units,
- special equipment – 251 (+9).
Recall, President Vladimir Zelensky on March 12 said that over the past week in the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army lost more than 1,100 soldiers killed and 1,500 wounded. More than 10 warehouses with enemy ammunition were also destroyed.
