Law enforcement agencies managed to stop a Russian citizen who arrived in Chisinau on March 9, his goal was to train people who would destabilize the situation in Moldova.
Russian special services are planning to destabilize the situation in Moldova, especially with the action organized today by members and supporters of the Shor party, said the head of the National Police, Viorel Cerneuteanu, according to Newsmaker.
Cerneutianu recalled that law enforcement agencies were able to prevent a Russian citizen from arriving in Chisinau on March 9. According to the police, his goal was to train people who would destabilize the situation in Moldova.
“Our undercover agent, embedded in this group, contacted a man from Russia. The second Russian citizen, Andrei, went to Moldova to organize training. He had previously been to Moldova, changed his name and documents several times so that he cannot be traced,” Cerneutyanu said.
The head of the police also said that the organizers of future riots formed 10 groups of 10 people, trained for actions. All their actions are coordinated from Russia. At the same time, all those recruited were promised 10 thousand dollars for organizing riots and support from political forces in Moldova. Yesterday, seven of them were detained and taken to the police.
Cerneuteanu also showed recordings taken with a hidden camera, depicting the training.
It will be remembered that the previous day, the White House announced that the Russian Federation plans to overthrow the government in Moldova.
Searches were conducted in Moldova related to the organization of the riots
