Metal band Black Dahlia Murder announced the death of singer Trevor Strnad on Wednesday. He is 41 years old.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Trevor Scott Strand.” My dearest son, brother and kind Shepard loved everyone he met, “the group, which Strand founded in Michigan in 2001, wrote in Instagram.
Strnad is “Everything Encyclopedia of Music,” the group said in a post, praising it as “truly one of the greatest entertainment in the world.”
“His poetry has given the world stories, spells, horrors and whims. His life is your show,” the band members added.
The cause of death was not named.
The group, named after Elizabeth Short’s 1947 assassination of the unopened Black Dahlia, has released nine albums.

Trevor Strnad, a unique beacon of light that makes the world a more interesting place. He introduced me and countless others to our favorite band. He diligently supports his friends with a sly smile on his face and now he is gone. damn.

It’s really embarrassing to hear of Trevor’s death due to the murder of Black Dahlia. It’s really scary. He was a very kind child. About 10 months ago, I put him on my podcast, he was very open about fighting depression. This is a sad day for the metal community
