The Ministry of the Interior announced that it had formed a special “Offensive Guard”. Almost all the units that will liberate the regions of Ukraine occupied by the Muscovites in the future have already been formed.
We have already accepted 28,000 applications from volunteers. Of course, not everyone gets into these divisions, because the selection is quite tough. We have already begun training almost all units at the training grounds of our country, and not everyone can withstand it there,” Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko noted on the air of a national telethon on March 11.
He noted that the training will continue as long as it is necessary to get combat-ready units of the National Guard, the GNSU and the National Police, which are all called the “Offensive Guard”.
The units have already been basically formed and now we are already recruiting additional volunteers in order to have a reserve for the future,” Klymenko added.
“Offensive Guards” are assault brigades that volunteers can join. They are aimed precisely at strengthening the defense forces and the liberation of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
