The moment of the destruction of a cruise missile in the sky in the south of Ukraine during a massive attack by the Russians on March 9 was shown by the armed forces of Ukraine. In particular, servicemen of the Kherson Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Yug air command made a successful hunt for an enemy missile.
Recall that the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 34 out of 48 Russian Kh-101 / Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles fired on March 9. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said that the enemy launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, carried out 81 launches of various missiles. Among these missiles: 28 launches of Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles; 20 launches of Caliber sea-launched cruise missiles; six launches of X-22 air-launched cruise missiles; six launches of Kh-47 Kinzhal air-launched cruise missiles; eight launches of guided aircraft missiles: two – Kh-31P; six – X-59; 13 launches of S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
In addition, eight launches of Shahed-136/131 strike drones were carried out.
