Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, denies reports of Ukraine’s involvement in the explosions on Russia’s Nord Stream gas pipelines.
We have nothing to do with this,” the president said on March 10 at a joint press conference with Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin.
He believes the news was spread to slow the pace of support for Ukraine.
We clearly understand in which network this information appeared, on which media platforms of which states, how it could be, where this information could come from. I think it is very dangerous that some independent media, which I have always treated with great respect, are taking such steps, the head of state stressed.
Recall that several world media this week began to write about the involvement of Ukrainians in explosions on Russian gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea.
Western intelligence agencies almost immediately learned the name of the Ukrainian who allegedly financed the sabotage of the Russian gas pipelines of the Nord Stream system in 2022, The Times reported.
According to the publication, it was a private sponsor and he is not connected with the Ukrainian authorities.
Apparently, NATO officials wanted to save Ukraine from a public quarrel with Germany, which was playing for time with the delivery of vital military aid, including Leopard 2 tanks and IRIS-T air defense systems. This is quite fair – they apparently knew who was responsible before the presidential administration or the Ministry of Defense in Kiev, who were stunned by the report and vehemently deny their involvement, ”the publication says.
Meanwhile, Danish police are searching the Baltic Sea for a yacht that could be linked to the Nord Stream explosions. The leadership of Cristiano Island claims that law enforcement officers interviewed local boats that moored on September 17-18. They also collected information from the port’s ticket machines.
German media said investigators had already identified the yacht and it belonged to a company on the island of Rügen.
German investigating authorities allegedly suspect a pro-Ukrainian group in the attack on Nord Stream.
Investigators were able to identify the yacht that was used for the operation. It probably belongs to two Ukrainians and was rented from a Polish company. According to investigators, the operation was carried out by a team of six people who transported explosives to the crime scene and placed it there. They used fake passports, which, among other things, were needed to rent a yacht.
Shortly after the destruction, the Western intelligence service sent information to European partner services, according to which a Ukrainian paratrooper was responsible for the destruction.
After that, according to intelligence, there were additional signs that a pro-Ukrainian group could be responsible.
International security circles do not rule out that this could be a false flag operation.
US intelligence also suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, The New York Times reported.
Officials do not disclose details about the people who could have done this or who could have financed this operation. However, they stated that they had no evidence that the President of Ukraine or his aides were involved in the operation or that the perpetrators were acting on instructions from any Ukrainian officials.
