Having lost a significant part of its military-technical potential during the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation was forced to provide equipment and weapons to the units, which were 50-60 years old.
Russia will not be able to fully restore the fighting capability of military units removed from Ukraine. This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It was reported that the consequence of the economic sanctions was a tangible decrease in the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.
It was also noted that, having lost a significant part of its military-technical potential during the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation was forced to provide units that had suffered losses in equipment and weapons aged 50-60 years.
However, this situation does not bother the Kremlin leadership; it doesn’t care how they send “cannon fodder” into the battle for the future of the “Russian world.” There is always something rusty for decades in warehouses that even third world countries do not want to buy at one time, – they emphasize in GUR.
According to GUR, in April of this year, the following were removed from Russian storage bases:
18 self-propelled guns Msta-S from the arsenal of rocket and artillery weapons of the Eastern PO (Ussuriysk, Primorsky Territory);
28 self-propelled Acacia guns from the 94 arsenal of GRAU (Omsk);
15 ACS Msta-S, 5 ACS Akatsiya and 20 ACS Gvozdika from the arsenal of the radioactive waste storage complex (Gagarinsky, Sverdlovsk region);
15 MLRS Uragan and 11 TRK Tochka-U from 109 arsenal GRAU (Batterynaya, Irkutsk region).
Now the rusty and rotten military-technical echo of the Kremlin’s “great past” is becoming the basis of Russia’s “present”, sums up Ukrainian intelligence.
It was previously reported that from February 24 to May 12, the total losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine reached approximately 26,650 (+300 per day) people.
