The aggressor country Russia has planned a provocation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
Ukrainian intelligence received information that in the near future the military-political command of Russia plans to conduct a large-scale provocation on the border of Ukraine and Belarus. This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It was established that Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov should arrive in Belarus to cover the provocation in detail. On March 11, it is planned to organize a TV and radio bridge and a live broadcast from the scene for the propaganda media in Russia. To do this, several groups of Russians have already arrived in Belarus.
Intelligence believes that the plans of the invaders may include the threat of destruction of infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population. The GUR notes that the enemy wants to use this provocation to create a hostile public opinion towards Ukraine on the part of the Belarusians and draw Belarus into the war against Ukraine on the side of Russia.
The Military Intelligence noted that Ukraine does not conduct any military operations on the territory of Belarus.
Recall that on March 7, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused Vladimir Zelensky of involvement in the attack on the Machulishchi airfield near Minsk, where military and reconnaissance aircraft of the Russian army are located, since “such operations are not carried out without the consent of the country’s leader.”
