The station is switching from diesel generators to receiving electricity from the United Energy System of Ukraine.
The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant has been reconnected to the grid. This was reported by Ukrenergo on Thursday, March 9.
It is indicated that specialists resumed the power supply of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which was interrupted by today’s missile attacks.
ZNPP is switching from diesel generators to receiving electricity for its own needs from the United Energy System of Ukraine.
Recall that on the night of March 9, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was completely de-energized as a result of rocket attacks by the Russian Federation. The station went into blackout mode for the sixth time during the occupation.
The IAEA Director General made a statement regarding the de-energization of the ZNPP. And 49 countries demanded the withdrawal of the Russian military from the ZNPP.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the demilitarization of the ZNPP “has never been out of the question” and traditionally blames Ukraine for everything that is happening.
