Russian terrorists have carried out another massive missile attack against Ukraine. The main blow was directed against the energy system of Ukraine.
As a result of the Russian missile attack on the night of March 9, power generation and distribution facilities were damaged in eight regions of Ukraine. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal.
“Today, Russian terrorists launched another massive missile attack against Ukraine. The main blow was directed against Ukraine’s energy system. They tried to destroy it again. And again they failed. The system of energy remains intact. Temporary power outages are possible in some areas, because the generation and distribution facilities in eight regions. The energy headquarters is working. Repair teams are working. The particular attention is paid for by returning electricity to Kharkiv,” the prime minister said.
Shmyhal added that not only energy, but also other civilian infrastructure was attacked, and civilians were also killed.
“Rocket strikes were also carried out against civilian infrastructure. Civilians were injured and killed. For future crimes, the Russians must be punished. We will not forget. We will not forgive. Thanks to the air defense forces and power engineers for their work – asserted the head of the government.
It will be remembered that on the night of March 9, Russia attacked 10 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. Due to the missile attack in some regions there were emergency blackouts, there were problems with water supply and heating, there were civilian deaths.
