The massive missile attack of the Russian Federation on the night of March 9 was again targeted at critical infrastructure.
As a result of missile strikes, power generation and distribution facilities in eight regions of Ukraine were damaged. The Russians again tried to destroy the energy systems of Ukraine, but they did not succeed. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmihal announced this on Telegram.

Shmigal added that there were also rocket attacks on civilian infrastructure that resulted in the death and injury of people. He assured that “the Russians must be punished for these yet another crimes.”
Recall that on the night of March 9, Russian invaders attacked three thermal power plants belonging to the DTEK Energy group. As a result of the shelling, the equipment of the TPP was seriously damaged. After the end of the attack, the power engineers quickly began to eliminate the consequences.
