The Armed Forces of Ukraine told the story of a viral photo from under Bakhmut. It depicts a seriously wounded man under drips, who shows the nurse, bent over him a wedding ring on his ring finger.
Photo of Irina Rybakova has become very popular in social networks.
At the time of the photo, the nurse told reporters about the seriously wounded man: “Look, he blinks at me!” And he can barely speak. Semi-conscious, with droppers and an oxygen mask on his face, a fighter who was wounded when the Russians tried to storm our positions, somehow finds the strength to raise his hand with a ring on his ring finger and say: “I’m married!”.
The doctor blushes, and the Bakhmut medical stabilization center bursts into laughter at the same moment – even here, among the blood and pain, there is a place for light.
The medical lady’s name is Inna Mutsuk. In Kyiv, she works in an emergency hospital, and here, at the stabilization point of the 93rd Specialized Brigade Kholodny Yar near Bakhmut, she has been volunteering since last summer.
Inna, – says the author of the picture, press officer of Kholodny Yar Irina Rybakova, – they let her go to us on such business trips. As a volunteer, she has been helping at the stabilization station for months. And, although this is a very difficult job, hard both physically and mentally, doctors also have such funny cases. We fight, Bakhmut holds on, life goes on.
