An assassination attempt is allegedly being prepared on the “president” of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, according to Russian media.
The authorities of unrecognized Transnistria announced the prevention of a “terrorist action”, which was allegedly being prepared at the direction of the Security Service of Ukraine. The so-called “Ministry of State Security” reported this on Thursday, March 9.
The officials are said to be the target of the “act of terrorism”. At the same time, the suspects were allegedly detained and confessed to everything. Local law enforcement brought “criminal charges” against them, including under the article “preparation for a terrorist attack.”
“MGB” promises to publish an “investigative film” called “On the threat of a terrorist attack in Transnistria” tonight.
Meanwhile, the Russian news agency TASS is reporting that an assassination attempt is allegedly being prepared on Transnistria’s “president” Vadim Krasnoselsky.
And the local publication Novosti Pridnestrovya claims that the Land Rover must have exploded, containing eight kilograms of RDX, as well as screws, nuts and wires, to hit as many people as possible.
It was previously reported that Russia accused Ukraine of “preparing provocations” in Transnistria. The Russian Foreign Ministry has threatened Ukraine and NATO that steps towards Transnistria will have consequences. Russia will consider this as an attack on its territory.
