The head of the OP and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discussed possible enemy actions with Biden’s adviser Sullivan and General Milley.
The Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley. Ermak announced this on his Telegram channel.
“We talked about the operational situation at the front and possible actions of the enemy. We settled separately on the defense of Bakhmut and the measures taken to ensure the stability of the positions of the Ukrainian forces in the direction of Donetsk, ” he wrote.
During the conversation, Yermak noted the importance of continuing to provide Ukraine with the necessary military and financial support.
The head of the Presidential Office also thanked the American people, the Biden administration and the US Congress for the reliable strategic partnership and support for Ukraine in the struggle for sovereignty, de-occupation of all lands and respect for international law and the UN Charter .
It will be remembered that this week at a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander, it was decided that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to defend Bakhmut and even strengthen the positions in the city.
