“The Politburo of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea has decided to implement a national quarantine project due to the serious situation regarding the introduction of a stealth-micron mutant virus in our area amid the worsening global health crisis,” said the statement.
In turn, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has vowed to overcome the “unexpected crisis” by declaring the quarantine control system as “maximum emergency.”
