The Russian armed forces in Ukraine have lost about 155 thousand 530 soldiers, officers and mercenaries.
700 enemies were eliminated per day. The Ukrainian military also destroyed four tanks, nine armored fighting vehicles, seven artillery systems and seven vehicles. Three enemy drones were also shot down. This was announced on March 8 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

- Operational-tactical UAV – 2 thousand 98 (+3),
- cruise missiles – 873 (+0),
- ships/boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 5 thousand 330 (+7) units,
- special equipment – 236 (+0).
Recall, CNN, citing NATO intelligence, reported that in the battles for Bakhmut, the Russians lose five times more soldiers than the Ukrainian army. Despite this ratio, Ukraine also suffers serious losses in the defense of the city.
