The Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day, March 7, repelled more than 100 Russian attacks in five directions.
The enemy continues to put pressure on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miners directions. The unsuccessful offensives of the Russians are taking place in the areas of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Kamenka, Avdeevka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for March 8.
Aviation of the Air Force yesterday inflicted seven strikes on the areas of concentration of the occupiers. Our defenders also shot down an enemy Orlan-10 drone. Ukrainian missilemen and artillerymen simultaneously hit one Buk-M1-2 anti-aircraft missile system, five enemy manpower concentration areas, three fuel and lubricants, and one Zoopark radar reconnaissance and control system.
The Russian invaders carried out 24 air strikes and one missile attack over the past day. During the airstrikes, the enemy used a Shahed-136 drone, but it was shot down. The Russians also carried out more than 60 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
Recall that British intelligence reported that Russia in the battles for Bakhmut in the Donetsk region in recent months has lost 20-30 thousand mercenaries of the private military company Wagner, and about a third of them may have died.
