The issue of men going abroad will be considered at the next meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief. Alexey Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, spoke about this on the air of the national telethon.
We had an unfortunate example when the Ministry of Culture gave six people to go to represent the country, but they did not return. Moreover, they boldly comment on social networks that someone must fight,” Danilov said.
The official noted that he supports changes in legislation aimed at strengthening the conditions for the departure of men of military age abroad.
Unfortunately, not everyone understands that when the state gives the opportunity to travel abroad, you must definitely return … At the meeting of the Stavka, which will be convened in the near future on behalf of the president, the question of who, how much, what departments gave permission will be on the agenda. The ministers will have reports for the Stavka meeting,” Danilov added.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reported that in order to prevent violations of the rules for crossing the state border, together with law enforcement agencies, they would initiate increased responsibility for violating the rules for the departure of male artists.
Recall that earlier showman Andrei Shchegel, who calls himself a stand-up comedian, said that he had left for Turkey, despite the fact that he had three summons to the army, because he considers himself a “free man”. He explained that he had found a way to leave Ukraine and “live in a comfortable psychological environment”, having received permission to perform in a foreign country from the Ministry of Culture. Schegel also added that he considers Ukraine a “fiction” and does not feel remorse because his compatriots are forced to die at the front, because “to die is the choice of the guys.”
