The lists of the fighters of the Offensive Guard will be kept secret. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will not publish the lists of ordinary soldiers of the Offensive Guard; currently, 23,000 applications from volunteer candidates have been received and are being processed.
This was announced by Interior Minister Igor Klymenko in an interview with Ukrinform.
In fact, we saw that a lot of people – both men and, by the way, women, who wanted to join the “Offensive Guards in different positions. Not only in intelligence came doctors, drivers, repairmen, technicians and so on. We have already registered more than 23 thousand applications. The information about more than 35,000 applications that was distributed is not accurate enough, since the number of 35,000 includes the number of consultations provided. We have over 23,000 net applications,” he said.
According to Klymenko, about 5% of all applications came from women.
Foreigners are now not accepted into volunteer assault brigades, the minister noted. At the moment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs deals exclusively with citizens of Ukraine.
The commanders of these units are open, public faces. They communicate with candidates for service in these brigades and form an intra-collective mood.
Recall that the recruiting campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, aimed at the formation of new assault brigades as part of the National Guard, the National Police and the GNSU, which will liberate the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Muscovites.
