Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trained at the artillery school in Idar-Oberstein. The other day, they flew to Germany on a German Armed Forces plane from Poland.
Germany began Ukrainian military training with Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) self-propelled artillery mounts. Spiegel reports.
It was noted that soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trained at the artillery school in Idar-Oberstein. The other day, they flew to Germany on a German Armed Forces plane from Poland.
The training will last approximately 40 days, but may end earlier in case there is initial training of the fighters.
The defense departments of Germany and the Netherlands are ready to prepare up to 18 howitzer crew. Since the crew consists of 3-5 soldiers, up to one hundred Ukrainian soldiers can be trained.
It will be recalled that Germany confirmed its intention to provide Ukraine with self-propelled howitzers.
Earlier it was reported that the German government decided to provide Ukraine with seven Panzerhaubitzen 2000 howitzers from the Bundeswehr reserves.
