“Wagnerites” proved to be more effective than the regular army of the Russian Federation – Austin

The head of the Pentagon, Loyd Austin, noted that the methods of the “Wagnerites” were interesting, but unthinkable.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that Wagner PMC mercenaries have proven more effective in the war in Ukraine than the regular Russian army.

“They used prisoners, prisoners, to regularly run their offensive, however I don’t think they were constantly recruiting from prisons. But these types of methods are really interesting, honestly unimaginable,” he said.

According to Austin, the US saw many prisoners die quickly on the battlefield.

“But they are a little better than the Russian forces. We have not seen exemplary actions of Russian troops on a large scale,” added the head of the Pentagon.

Remember, according to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Wagner PMC lost its most effective unit in the battle for Bakhmut.

According to the media, the “Wagnerites” are recruiting former patients of the psychiatric dispensary.
