Beijing and Moscow are having a dialogue in the face of an “increasingly unstable world” and do not pose a threat to third countries, the Chinese Foreign Ministry insisted.
Good relations between Beijing and Moscow are important against the backdrop of global instability. This was announced on March 7 by Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang at a press conference on the country’s foreign policy, CNN reports.
“The more unstable the world becomes, the more important it is for China and Russia to continue to develop their relationship,” the Chinese Foreign Minister said.
According to him, the contact between the two countries is not aimed at any third party and “is not a threat to any country.”
Gan assured that China is not supplying weapons to any of the parties in the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, he stressed that the United States has no right to blame Beijing, because it is arming Taiwan.
“Why does the US ask China not to supply arms to Russia, while they continue to sell arms to Taiwan? China did not create the conflict (in Ukraine), it is not a party to it and has not supply of weapons to both sides,” the minister said.
It will be recalled that Beijing believes that the Ukrainian crisis has reached a critical moment and that the peace negotiation process should begin as soon as possible.
