The Russians daily suffer such heavy losses in personnel that they do not stop taking measures to replenish them.
Recently, in the temporarily occupied Donetsk, the military commissariats were instructed to clarify the personal credentials of reserve officers up to 65 years old inclusive, as well as reserve soldiers, sergeants and warrant officers up to 50 years old.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 6 in the evening summary.
In addition, the Ukrainian military reported that a military medical commission is working in the Donbass hotel in the city of Kadievka in the temporarily occupied Lugansk region. The work of this VLK is aimed at recognizing the wounded servicemen of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian occupation forces as fit, in order to return them to service in the future. Thus, the Russian military leadership is trying to quickly restore its units.
The convicts are over, now the Wagner PIK is recruiting mentally ill people, according to The Moscow Times.
The announcement that now to enter the service in the “Wagner” do not need certificates from a psychiatrist and narcologist, as well as a fluorogram, was posted in one of the groups of this PIK in social networks.
Information about the readiness to take on the service of people who were treated in a psycho-neurological dispensary was confirmed by recruiters of the group.
The correspondent of The Moscow Times, as a volunteer, turned to the Wagner hotline and said that he was being treated in a psycho-neurological dispensary for a nervous breakdown. In response, they sent a formal instruction with requirements for recruits and offered to evaluate themselves according to it.
Read the instructions, if everything is fine, we are waiting for you,” the VAT recruiter said.
It follows from the instructions that people “who are ill with serious illnesses, interfere with the performance of tasks, suffer from drug addiction, and also those who have recovered from hepatitis B and C” are not taken to the PIK. However, they do not require any certificates, upon arrival at the place, as follows from the same instructions, a serious medical examination is not carried out: they take only an express blood test and a urine test for drugs.
Recruiters explain the sharp decline in entry requirements as follows: “To remove unnecessary bureaucracy.”
PIK “Wagner” has long felt a “personnel shortage”: in February, the recruitment of mercenaries in prisons and colonies was suspended. Currently, the Ministry of Defense is exclusively engaged in recruiting prisoners for the war in Ukraine.
