It is indicated that last year a contract was signed with the Kazakh side for the supply of ANKA drones. And the other day, during the visit of the Kazakh delegation to Ankara, a new cooperation agreement was signed between TUSAŞ and Kazakhstan Engineering – which is in the joint production of ANKA drones in Kazakhstan.
UAV maintenance and repair will also be carried out in a joint venture in this country.
Thus, Kazakhstan became the first foreign country to launch production of ANKA drones.
TUSAŞ CEO Temel Kotil expressed his pride in the growing interest of foreign partners in ANKA drones.
“The new agreement will further strengthen close ties with fraternal Kazakhstan,” he stressed.
The ANKA strike and reconnaissance drone entered service in 2013. Its wingspan is 17.5 meters, length 8.6 meters, height 3.2 meters. Maximum takeoff weight – 1.7 tons, can carry 350 kg of cargo. Cruise speed 200 km/h. Flight duration with combat load up to 30 hours. The practical ceiling is more than 9 kilometers.
Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine was asking the United States of MQ-1C Gray Eagle attack drones with ammunition-AGM-114 Hellfire missiles.
