There has been no power shortage in the power system for 23 consecutive days and so far it has not been predicted.
Repair crews managed to stabilize the situation in the energy system of the eastern region of Ukraine. Ukrenergo reported this on Monday, March 6.
“In the east, after the completion of the repair work, the reliability of the regional electricity supply was restored. The work continues to improve the reliability of the electricity supply in the Odessa region. Disconnecting consumers is not predicted,” the report said.
It indicates that there is no power shortage in the power system for the 23rd consecutive day and is not yet forecast. At the same time, a sharp increase in consumption is not expected in the coming week due to weather conditions, which may affect the stability of the electricity supply.
Now all kinds of power plants are running and there is little import of electricity. This is enough to cover consumption.
Repairs are also ongoing at all Ukrenergo facilities previously damaged by the enemy.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will strengthen the physical protection of energy generation and infrastructure. This is planned to be done this year in preparation for the next heating season.
