Doubt: Russia is waging a neo-colonial war in Ukraine

The President of Poland noted that the Russian Federation wants to conquer and exploit its neighbors, which is a continuation of historical colonialism. ABOUT

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is neo-colonial in nature, and that Russia intends to exploit Ukraine, including economically. Polish Radio reported it.

In the general debate at the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries in Qatar, the President of Poland noted that the Russian Federation wants to occupy and exploit its neighbors, which is a continuation of historical colonialism. He also emphasized that Poland, too, had been a victim of Russia’s imperial policy in the past.

“The empire kidnaps people, including children, and sends them deep into Russia. Ukrainians say that the Russians have kidnapped more than 100,000 children. If someone does not obey his will, the empire kills. Isn’t this familiar? it happened in the history of many countries? I say this openly, because in the past Poland was a victim of the brutal policies of neighboring empires,” said Duda.
