The military losses of the Russian Federation have already exceeded 153 thousand people.
Only in the past day, March 4, 930 Russian soldiers, officers and mercenaries were destroyed. Also, the Ukrainian military incinerated five tanks, nine infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, 12 artillery systems, one MLRS each and an air defense system, 10 vehicles. Four UAVs were also shot down. This was reported on March 5 at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to March 5, 2023 were approximately:

- tanks – 3 thousand 414 (+5) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 6 thousand 692 (+9) units,
- artillery systems – 2 thousand 426 (+12) units,
- MLRS – 488 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 248 (+1) units,
- aircraft – 302 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 289 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 2 thousand 71 (+5),
- cruise missiles – 873 (+0),
- ships/boats – 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tankers – 5 thousand 299 (+10) units,
- special equipment – 232 (+2).
Recall that the American Center for Strategic and International Studies stated that the total losses of Russia with the wounded and missing could reach 200-250 thousand. This number includes the mercenaries of the Wagner group, as well as those mobilized in fictitious Russians on the territory of Ukraine, the LPR and the DPR .
