The threat of Russian missile strikes against Ukraine continues to be high.
The number of missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea, including the presence of submarines, speaks of the preparation of the enemy for a missile attack. And the hostile command determines the tactics of these strikes. The Russians have already realized that massive attacks do not give the expected result. Therefore, most likely, the occupiers will use pinpoint attacks, as it was in the Kremenchug region of the Poltava region. The head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, stated this on the air of the telethon.
According to her, in the case of pinpoint attacks, the aggressor raises aircraft into the air, and also keeps rocket carriers at the ready in the sea. Thus, the invaders are trying to confuse the Ukrainian air defense by diverting attention.
As of the morning of March 5, there are two surface and two underwater carrier ships of cruise missiles in the Black Sea. The representative of the Odessa OVA, Sergey Bratchuk, said on Telegram that these vessels can produce up to 24 Caliber.
Recall that the Air Force has calculated that Russian aviation daily inflicts from 30 to 40 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the threat of cruise missile launches now exists, because the enemy uses all methods of reconnaissance: radar, intelligence, air and space.
