On March 4, the State Anti-Corruption Program was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
This program is a key tool for the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2021-2025 and contains measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of the corruption prevention system in various areas of life. Prime Minister Denys Shmihal announced this on Telegram.
We are taking another step towards building a modern and efficient anti-corruption infrastructure, he noted.
According to the head of government, the Cabinet of Ministers will continue to cooperate with the Verkhovna Rada and the heads of anti-corruption agencies, since the adopted strategy should be open to suggestions and additions.
The prime minister added that the government will approve the director of NABU at the next meeting, after the proposals for the three finalists for this position were submitted to the government by the commission.
Recall that the competition commission for the selection of candidates for the position of director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine determined three winners. The finalists were the head of the State Inspectorate for Architecture and Urban Planning Semyon Krivonos, an employee of the DBR in Khmelnitsky Serhiy Gupyak and the head of the Internal Control Department of NABU Roman Osipchuk.
