The number of Russian troops on the territory of Belarus is constantly changing.
The troops of the Russian Federation in this country number no more than 9-10 thousand soldiers and officers. Once these units are withdrawn from Belarus, they are likely to be replaced by other groups. They will be trained in Russia. Andrey Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Service, announced this on the air of a telethon on March 4.
According to him, part of the Russian military, after preparation, is already beginning to move to the territory of the aggressor country. Then they are overturned to the east of Ukraine, where they replenish the occupation units.
Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that the Belarusian military is trying to refrain from participating in the war against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation. However, the GUR noted that the Belarusians would be forced to obey the orders of the dictator Alexander Lukashenko and could be involved in the invasion of Ukraine.
