US authorities have imposed sanctions on six Russian citizens working in the justice system, including a deputy minister, in connection with the case of publicist Vladimir Kara-Murza. This was reported on the website of the US Department of the Treasury on Friday, March 3.

Director of the ANO Center for Assistance to the Development of Humanitarian Expertise Independent expert Danila Mikheev.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinkena said these sanctions were imposed in connection with the arbitrary detention of a publicist and public figure Kara-Murza. In practice, these restrictive measures mean a ban on the issuance of US entry visas and the freezing of property under US jurisdiction.
