“Every self-respecting corporation” can purchase and install air defense systems at its facilities.
To protect against drones, Russian businesses must freely purchase air defense systems. This was said by the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov, according to The Moscow Times.
He noted that the funds of the Ministry of Defense “are devoted to covering important state and military facilities,” others are invited to fight drones themselves.
“There are relatively inexpensive methods of combating unmanned aerial vehicles that every self-respecting corporation can purchase and place in its facilities,” he explained.
According to Kartapolov, the areas where Russian air defenses are located are known to both NATO intelligence and the Ukrainian military.
“That is, they almost know where our air defense systems are located, and it is quite possible to launch a drone on the route so that it not only passes around the terrain, but also bypasses the same defense areas in the air,” said Kartapolov.
Recall that two days earlier, an explosion thundered in the Moscow region, which was heard in almost all areas of the city.
As reported, in January, air defense systems began to appear on the roofs of administrative buildings in Moscow.
