The Ukrainian Defense Forces received 24 British Spartan tracked armored personnel carriers purchased by the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation.
In general, the Fund purchases 101 Spartans. Prytula announced this today, March 3, on his Twitter page.
At the expense of people and businesses who donated to Spartan, our foundation purchased and delivers to Ukraine a historically record batch of armored vehicles that do not enter through intergovernmental communications, Prytula noted.
On the fund’s Facebook page, it is indicated that this armored vehicle has been serviced in the UK and is prepared for the installation of communications and weapons.
We immediately transfer all armored vehicles to the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the fund notes. – People’s Spartans will enter the country in several queues, given the complexity of logistics.
These 101 armored vehicles include eight models:
- FV103 Spartan;
- Samaritan;
- Sultan;
- stormer;
- shielder;
- FV432;
- FV434;
- Samson.
