Invaders block the work of farmers in the Luhansk region – General Staff

In the occupied territories of the Lugansk region, farmers’ crops are destroyed in the summer-autumn of 2022.

The Russians blocked farmers from the occupied territories of the Lugansk region from selling their crops, causing them to be destroyed. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing on Wednesday, March 1.

“In the temporarily occupied territories of the Lugansk region, local farmers have massively destroyed the summer-autumn harvest of 2022. The Russian occupation administration is completely blocking the opportunity for all local farmers to sell of grain both in domestic and foreign markets,” the report said.

It was also noted that the occupying power unofficially banned all local bakeries from receiving grain from local farmers.

Earlier it was reported that cheap grain from Ukraine is causing more and more problems for farmers from Eastern European countries of the European Union.
