The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the salaries of military personnel in 2023.
The press service of the Command of the Ground Forces has published infographics with salaries for 2022 (for comparison) and 2023.
One of them shows the general level of monetary allowance for the military without additional rewards for combat missions, and the other shows the salaries of the Ground Forces only, taking into account allowances for combat and special missions.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, additional salary payments in the amount of UAH 30,000 have been introduced for all military personnel. For those who directly fight at the front – 100 thousand UAH.
In January 2023, the Ministry of Defense announced that it was changing the amount of additional payments to the military – they were made more differentiated, that is, the amount of payments depends on participation in combat missions and actions.
