On the anniversary of the Russian missile attack on Babi Yar, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia bears full responsibility for the genocidal war.
“Decades after the tragedy of Babi Yar, this land and this memory were subjected to a new mockery. Russian terrorists fired rockets. On March 1, 2022, this Russian crime was committed – against history, against humanity, against Kiev and Ukraine,” he said.
Zelensky added that Ukraine will be able to bring the terrorist state to full responsibility for the war.
“All murderers, terrorists and executioners will be held accountable. Historical justice will be restored. Life and Ukraine will win!” – said the president.
Recall that on March 1, 2022, as a result of a Russian missile attack on the territory of the Babi Yar memorial complex, the TV tower was damaged, five people died. In addition, the burial sites of thousands of Jews and Ukrainians killed during World War II were damaged.
Zelensky then addressed all the world’s Jews and called on the world’s Jewish community not to be silent when the victims of the Holocaust were “killed a second time.”
