During the last day of winter, the defenders of Ukraine repulsed more than 85 attacks of the occupying Russian army in five directions. This was reported in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions over the past day, our defenders repulsed more than 85 enemy attacks, the message says.
The invaders launched two missile and 12 air strikes, including the use of two Shahed-136 drones. These drones were shot down by Ukrainian soldiers. Also, the enemy made 68 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Makeevka, Nevskoye, Chervonopopovka, Shipilovka and Belogorovka of the Luhansk region, but was not successful. A number of villages were fired upon from enemy artillery.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Russians continue to lead the offensive and storm Bakhmut. The defense forces repelled attacks in the areas of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Temporary Yar and Belaya Gora. Enemy shelling was exposed to Zheleznyansky, Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Dubovo-Vasilevka, Bakhmut, Ivanovsky, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanovka, Maiorsk and Zhelezny Donetsk region.
On the Avdiivka and Shakhtyorsk directions, the enemy continues to attack the positions of the Ukrainian troops. He made unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Kamenka, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Marinka and Pobeda.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy was on the defensive, in some areas he tried to create conditions for going over to the offensive. A number of villages and towns, including Kherson, were also shelled.
Aviation of the Defense Forces over the past 24 hours inflicted 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of the occupying forces, and missilemen and artillerymen hit nine areas of concentration of manpower and the area of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy, as well as two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, an electronic warfare station and ammunition.
