In the Kherson region, a civilian exploded on a mine left by Russian invaders.
The tragedy occurred near the village of Davidov Brid of the Great Alexander community. This was announced today, February 28, by the press service of the Kherson police department.
A 58-year-old local resident was chopping firewood in a forest belt when he suddenly stumbled upon a Russian mine. Because of the explosion, the man was left without part of his right leg. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Now he is on the operating table, doctors are fighting for his life.
The OVA reminds that the mine danger in the Kherson region is extremely high and urges the inhabitants of the region to strictly observe the elementary rules of mine safety.
The enemy plentifully sowed our land with tripwires, mines, shells and other explosive objects. – Now it is extremely DANGEROUS to visit forest belts, plantings and other unexplored sappers of the territory. If you see explosives, move to a safe distance and report the find to rescuers or law enforcement officers.
