In the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory of Russia, on the night of today, February 28, a fire broke out on the territory of the oil depot of the Russian state company Rosneft.
The Russians, citing government officials, subsequently stated that Ukrainian drones were spotted in the area of the oil depot, allegedly jammed by electronic warfare forces, deviated from the trajectory and “did not harm the attacked infrastructure facility.”
The local Telegram channel “My Tupse” published a photo of the aftermath of a fire at an oil depot, indicating that certain buildings were seriously damaged.
At the same time, there are no traces of an oil spill or damaged tanks on the pictures.
Today, in a number of regions of Russia, there has been a series of incidents, probably related to drones of unknown origin. In particular:
- The authorities of Belgorod reported the fall of the wreckage of three drones, causing some damage to cars and houses. In particular, it is alleged that one of the drones flew into the window of the apartment;
- in the Republic of Adygea, bordering the Krasnodar Territory, they announced the fall of an “unidentified aircraft”;
- over St. Petersburg, the airspace was closed due to an unknown flying object, the local Pulkovo airport did not receive aircraft. Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Defense explained this incident by “training” the air defense forces;
- in the Kolomna district of the Moscow region near the object of “Gazprom” a drone fell.
