In three regions of Ukraine, the SBU exposed new draft prevention schemes. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
“The security service blocked three more schemes for draft evasion of Ukrainians. During the investigation and operational actions in several regions of Ukraine, seven organizers of transactions were exposed. For money, they will be offered to potential conscripts to avoid mobilization based on fake health documents and through illegal border crossing. The average cost of such services ranges from $2,000 to $8,000. The price depends on the number and type of the document,” the report said.

In the Vinnitsa region, a group of people forged medical certificates with details of hospitals located in the temporarily occupied southeast of Ukraine. Among the organizers of the scheme are a teacher, a doctor and an IT specialist.
In Transcarpathia, two residents of the Rakhiv region offered deviators to flee the EU through the river located on the border. The cost of services includes life jackets.
Criminal cases were opened under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: illegal transfer of people across the state border of Ukraine; abuse of power or official position; abuse of influence.
It was earlier reported that border guards detained 16 evaders and six of their “helpers”.
