Another earthquake hits Malatya, Turkey

On the evening of February 28, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck the Malatya province of Turkey. Anadolu Agency reported this in relation to the Office for the Prevention and Elimination of Consequences of Emergency under the Government of Turkey (AFAD).

It was noted that the tremors were recorded at 05.18 local time (04.18 Kyiv time)

The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Yeshilyurt region, the focus was at a depth of 7 km.

It was previously reported that on February 27, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in Malatya, 25 buildings collapsed, and one person died.

It will be remembered that from the beginning of the month, Turkey was shaken by earthquakes.
