On the night of February 24, a 73-year-old resident of Oslo came to an apartment building where the families of Russian diplomats live. He brought with him a large loudspeaker, from which he sounded an air raid alarm.
73-year-old Norwegian Ketil Crane thus decided to remind the representatives of the occupying country the air raid signal heard daily by Ukrainians.
Crane said that he wanted to wake up the Russians both metaphorically and physically, so that they would feel for themselves what it was like to wake up at night from sirens. Speaking to Norwegian media Nettavisen, the man said he was concerned that people were forgetting about the war. With his action, he hopes to remind that the war in Ukraine continues. He also added that he was ready to pay a fine or be arrested.
The day before Crane staged a rally at the embassy residence at 2:30 a.m., he informed neighboring apartments of his plan.
