Elon Musk, a well-known American entrepreneur and billionaire, in a recent post on his Twitter page, called the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine a “coup”
So Musk commented on a 2014 article by American scholar John Mearsheimer, which claimed that for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, the “illegal overthrow” of Viktor Yanukovych’s power allegedly “became the last straw,” after which the seizure of Crimea took place.
For Putin, the illegal overthrow of the democratically elected and pro-Russian president of Ukraine, which he rightly called a “coup,” was the final straw, said the snippet, to which Musk reacted.
Musk backed up the allegation of an alleged “coup” in Ukraine.
These elections may have been dubious, but there is no doubt that the coup really took place, the billionaire said.
Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the President’s Office, reacted to Musk’s statement on his Twitter page, advising him to stop reading Russian newspapers.
Free societies influence states through dialogue/elections. Society prisoners take to the streets to get rid of repressive states. This is the base of Freedom, Ilone Mask, – Podolyak emphasized. – There have never been coups in Ukraine, but there have always been free people. Stop reading Russian newspapers.
